Vielen Dank vorab!

Hi Silvia,

To get the marriage certificate you should contact the archive in Gniezno. All is written on the Poznan-Project website:
Obrazek

Unfortunately, I don't understand this part - automatic translation isn't helpful in this case...at all. What exactly do you mean/what do you need?

Monika

Hey Monika, it means that I am interested in there are still living family members of Dymna /Dymny and Filipiak in Borzecice, because my greatgrandmother had many siblings and also my 2nd greatgrandparents. When they moved to Germany, they lost contact to their family.
Borzecice seems not to have a Website, so I think I have to look for a Website of Kozmin, to learn about this Village.
Greetings to you,
Silvia (Maryn )

It can be difficult because of the "personal data" protection. Given the fact that we live in 21st century, I suggest searching on Facebook. This spotted looks inviting:

I hope if you describe your story, someone would be able to help you. People love stories like that - family reunion etc.. :D

Hey Monika
I followed your advice and made a posting on Spotted Koznin-Facebooksite.
This is a really good idea and I thank you once more for your help!

Pozdrawiam
Silvia (Maryn)

....the photo of my Avatar shows my beloved grandmother Marie (Marianna) Goltz, born Moryniak and mother of my Dad. Germans wrote the family name as Maryniak but former polish documents showed that Moryniak seems to be the right spelling. Marie is my angel!!! She also died - like her mother Marianna - at the age of 39 years when my father was just 12 years (so I was not able to meet her). Marie died of an illness of her kidneys and I am the grandchild with having exactely the same illness. But grandmother Marie protected my as my angel so I could survive with having an operation in my childhood. As my dad told me Marie was a very religious, calm and hard working woman with have given birth to 7 children (all survived) and especially she worshiped mother Mary. It is because of my grandmother that I started family research years ago. Silvia

You're welcome. I hope you'll find relatives and learn more about your grandmother's family.

Maryniak is more likely - much more results in this area. Generally, both seems to be correct, just written differently.

Hmm...I suppose you've already known database of archival indexing system "BASIA"... However, If you haven't heard about it yet, check these links:

Good morning Monika,

thank you so much for all these Links to Scans!
I will check them the following weekend.

Yes, Jan (Joannes) Filipiak and Agnes Lojek are my 3rd great grandparents and parents of Anastasia Filipiak and her sister Josepha Filipiak who had been married to Laurentius Dymny (brother of Franciscus Dymny), so two sisters married two brothers - all coming from Borzecice.

Thanks to you I can now go on with finding more information about them.

I found Poznan Project years ago and with help of it and Lukasz Bielecki found some documents of my great grandparents Joseph Goltz and Antonina Dymna and some documents showing where Josephs parents used to live in Poznan city.

Joseph seems to be the only one with german roots. His father Carl August Julius Goltz was born in 1826 at Lipke (now Lipkie Wielkie) near Gorzów Wielkopolskie and was of protestant religion. Unfortunately, the churchbooks are all lost until 1840. Joseph's mother Helena Gernt was born in Wollstein (now Wolsztyn) and she was of catholic religion but I guess that she might have had german roots as well. I never found something about her except in the marriage certificate of my grandparents.

Two of their sons have been baptized protestant, only my great grandfather was baptized catholic. So all of us descendants became catholic. Joseph's wife Antonina was polish so my grandfather Ignatz, their son, was half of both. Ignatz married Marianna Moryniak (Maryniak) who again was polish. So my dad has a good mixture I guess! :D My dad told me that his mother loved cooking polish food and when she was angry she only spoke in polish language. :)

Anyway thank you so much for helping me in so many ways! :)
